In Clash of Clash, Error 102 occurs when trying to transfer their account to another device using a link device option. When Error 102 occurs player will get a message as “error 102 occurred, please try again after some time”. 

This error commonly occurs when you are trying to transfer their account from one device to another device, but the internet is not stable on one of the devices. So, if you are also facing this error, then we have some tips and tricks that might help you. So, Let’s begin, 

How to Fix Error 102 in Clash of Clans? 

If you are facing Error 102 while transferring the Clash of Clans account, then there are two ways to fix it. 

1. Connect both the device to the same network

Error 102 generally occurred because of an internet error during the account transfer process. So, make sure to connect both devices with the same network connection and, if possible, connect both devices with the wifi network as wifi is more stable compare to the 4G and 5G. 

If you don’t have a wifi connection, you can use a hotspot tether from a smartphone with a stable network connection and connect both devices with it. Once both the devices are connected to the same network, then try to do the link device process again. 

2. Use other ways to transfer your account

If you are getting error 102 again and again even after changing the network, then you should try a different method to transfer your account.

Connect your clash of clans id with your google play games id, and now download and install the game on your new device and use your google play games id to login into the game. You will find your village with all of your progress, and you can use this account on both devices. But, remember do not use the account simultaneously on both devices, or it will disconnect one of your devices. 

If you are an Apple user, then you can use social media account to connect with your clash of clans id and then use that social media account to log in on the new device. 

Note: Do not use the same account simultaneously on both devices or you will be automatically logged out from your one of your device, and you have to login again. 

If none of this worked for you, then you can contact clash of clans support for help to transfer your account. They will ask you questions about your current village, town hall level, and account level, and then they will help you transfer your account.
