First of all, you need to download the game from the play store or app store. After that, Sign Up using any of the provided methods that suit you. Then comes a crucial part selecting which server to play in. If you are confused about which server to choose, don’t worry. We have some recommendations for you.

1. Farming For Exp / Levels 

Well, experience and levels matter a lot in Ni No Kuni, and knowing how to do it properly will make a ton of difference in the battles and missions that the game will give you. 

Currently, there are 4 main ways to gain massive amounts of experience points they are:-

In-Game Quests – The game provides you with many in-game quests and reputation quests that will give you experience points and other items which will help you increase your CP (Character Power). Don’t forget to do side reputation quests, as it will give you some exp when you are hard stuck on any level.

Swift Solution Quests – Many players just let these Swift Solution Quests sit, and some just completely forget about them, but we recommend you to do them every day as they give massive amounts of experience. You can complete them manually or just pay a small amount of gold to complete them.

Buying Exp From Kingdom’s General Store – You can join a Kingdom once you reach level 16, and we recommend you to join one as soon as possible. You can not only get to buy experience and other rare in-game items from the shop, but you also get to play with your fellow kingdom (guild) mates and explore the multiplayer side of the game.

Farming in Chaos Fields – Chaos field is the best way to idle farm in Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds. With different element monsters spawning everywhere, You can farm for many in-game items, including massive amounts of experience points. (Tip: Do not forget to use “Energy Potions” while farming in chaos fields).

2. Increasing CP (Character power)

You can increase your CP by levelling up and doing side quests, but most of your character power will come from familiars and equipment. Yes, you must use the best equipment and weapons in your inventory, and to do that, just go to your inventory and click on Auto Equip.

This function will automatically choose the best equipment available to you and equip them automatically. Trust us when we say that many people don’t even know how many powerful pieces of equipment are available in their inventory.

Character power can also be increased by equipping stronger familiars. All the 4-star and 3-star familiars are super powerful and can increase your cp drastically, so don’t forget to use them.

3. Using Ai Mode

Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds has an amazing feature called Ai mode, you can use this mode for non-stop farming in the chaos fields, and the best thing is that you don’t even need to have the game running. Ai mode is a server-based feature that allows players to farm even after turning off their game. You get 4 hours of free Ai mode every day, so don’t forget to use it every day!

Steps To Use Ai Mode:

1. Open Ni no Kuni on your device.
2. Open the menu option in the game.
3. Then click on the challenge option.
4. Then select the “Choas Fields” option and select fast travel.
5. Go to any “monster spawn location” of your choice.
6. Then again, open the menu option and click on the Ai Mode icon.
7. Ai mode icon looks like a plug option at the bottom of your screen, right beside the in-game camera option.
8. Then choose ai in the current area.

If you already have used Ai mode on the field, you can use Ai in a recent area, and this option will take your character back to the last spot where you used Ai, and then the game will shut down. Overall, Ai mode is excellent for players who want to grind without having the time to do so.

4. Upgrading Your Equipment

Not everyone can get 4-star equipment from the summons, but you can upgrade your existing equipment to 4-star, 5-star, or even 6-star. You can level up your equipment using weapon varnish, and there are different types of elemental varnish that give bonus levelling points to their corresponding elemental weapons. You will need to level up your existing equipment to level 30 before upgrading it to add another star to it.

To Upgrade Your Weapon, Follow these steps:

1. Open the Menu option in the game.
2. Then select the Equipment sub-menu.
3. Click On the polish option to open the upgrade menu.
4. First, you need to level up your equipment to level 30.
5. After your equipment is levelled up to 30, go to Upgrade and then choose the weapon you want to upgrade.

(Tip: Use the same elemental upgrade material to gain a bonus on levelling up)

5. Elemental Advantage

Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds offers players to take advance of the element types to gain extra damage on monsters in the game. Knowing which element to play against certain monsters will give you an edge on the battlefield. Currently, the game has 5 elements in the game. 

 

The Five Elements in the Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds:

1. FIRE
2. WATER
3. EARTH
4. DARK
5. LIGHT

Fire counters Earth but is weak against Water, Earth counters Water but is weak against Fire, and Water counters Fire but is weak against Earth. While Dark and Light only counter each other.

So if you are facing a Fire element monster, we recommend Water-type weapons. When facing an Earth-type monster, we recommend you to use Fire-type weapons, and if you fight a water monster, use an Earth-type weapon to gain the upper hand.

(Tip: You can see the monster’s element type right beside their HP bar while engaging in battle.)

6. Gaining Advantage With Familiars

Familiars are a significant part of the game as not only do they provide CP, but they also give you extra active skills. Which, if used correctly, will give you an edge in battle. But to get the best out of your small friends, we recommend you to level up and upgrade them constantly so that you can become even stronger! Follow the steps given below to upgrade your familiar.

Steps To Train Your Familiar

1. Open the Menu Option in the game.
2. Then click on the Familiars option.
3. Then choose the train. It will take you to a page with various training options.
4. Then select level up and try to get your familiars to level 30.
5. Then click on evolve if your familiar is level 30 to add another star.

And don’t forget to equip stronger familiars to increase your CP even more.

7. Field Bosses

Field bosses in Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds are monsters that spawn at different times throughout the day. Currently, there are 4 field bosses in the game that reward you with some exclusive in-game items for participating in the raids. The rewards include field boss cores and even a chance to get 4-star equipment which can give you a huge boost in terms of CP (Character Power).

How to Participate in Field Boss Raids:

1. Open The menu option in-game.
2. Then click on the challenge option in the right-side panel.
3. Then select the Field Boss option from the Challenge sub-menu.
4. Then click on Fast Travel to go there.

You can also switch channels to participate multiple times in the field boss raids to increase your chance of getting that 4-star equipment.

8. Level Up All The Classes

Levelling up all classes can be a hassle, but the reward you can get from it is worth it! But first, you should know the proper way of doing it. We recommend you level up your main character to level 38 first to unlock all the game’s major activities. But it also has a second benefit that each of your non-main classes gets a 10% exp gain boost if your main character is at least 10 levels above from rest of the classes.

Now let’s talk about why you should be levelling up all your sub-characters to at least level 20. It provides you with inventory slots to keep extra items, healing potions, familiar upgrade materials, extra equipment, and diamonds. Instead of buying inventory slots, try doing this and save up diamonds for your favourite familiar banner!

9. Follow The Main Story Plot 

In Ni No Kuni Crossworlds, there is the main story plot of the game, which is also the central part of the game. So we recommend you do not skip the story because understanding the storyline will help you understand the game better, making the game more exciting and entertaining. Many people ignore the story part and only focus on doing the missions without understanding the reason behind the missions, so we suggest that you don’t make the same mistake.

10. Using Items And Positions 

In Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds, Using items and positions correctly for the right purpose is very important since you don’t want to end up using your rare items and rare positions on something insignificant or something that didn’t need to be done. 11. Joining a Kingdom

Entering the kingdom has a lot of benefits; you can buy some in-game items from the kingdom store, purchase reputation points, items for your familiars, and some other essential items, which are only available in the kingdom store.
