How to Buy and Sell items in Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds?
Ni No Kuni is an MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game) launched by Netmarble Inc. It was then published by Level 5, the original creators of the Ni No Kuni Franchise, on May 27th. Since its release, the game has seen a massive increase in the player base.
Like the other titles in the Ni No Kuni series, the cross worlds also feature two distinct worlds, the “Real-world” and the “Fantasy worlds”, where players will spend most of their time. Now, Let’s begin with the guide,
Selling and Buying Items
You cannot Buy and Sell Items in Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds as you can only exchange them with other players. For example, let’s talk about exchanging apples for corn. Yes, people do that, and it’s possible. Exchanging means you will give something to the player and take something else in exchange for it, and the only way you can make a profit is when you will exchange something that you actually need in the game.
So be aware and plan your steps when trading, some important items you can exchange are spell books, spell book pages, food items, equipment material and familiar upgrade materials.
Where To Trade?
In the game Ni No Kuni, you can exchange in the city of Evermore. Just teleport to the town of Evermore and go to the southeast side of the city just on the left of the gate that takes you to Southern Heartlands. Here you should see many players that have already opened their shops and are trading goods they have farmed. If you find a good deal, you should go for it, but remember that you need have items that the other player wants to complete the trade successfully.
The trade cost is around 500 gold coins in Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds, so keep that in mind when going for trades.
How to set up your shop?
To set up your shop in Ni No Kuni, you must be in the Southeast part of the city Evermore. After reaching the spot, you should see a shop like an icon pop up on your screen and if you click that in the middle of the street, it should ask you to set up your shop.
Pick the item or items you want to sell and what you want in return. However, you cannot exchange apples for spellbooks. I know it’s obvious but remember that you cannot exchange items out of their category. So you can exchange food items for only food items and speel books and pages for the respective ones.
When To Trade?
Well, now that you know how and where to trade, let’s talk about when to trade. Simply speaking, it’s your personal choice when you want to trade. But we recommend you to trade when necessary. For example, let’s suppose you farmed using Ai mode(How to use Ai mode) and, unfortunately, you farmed the wrong element monsters. Now you have water weapon upgrades when you wanted those fire upgrade ones or when you have a spell book of a spell that you don’t want to use.
All of these are scenarios that you want to set up your shop for and exchange the goods you currently have for the ones you want. This exchange system in the game is very underrated, and not many players utilize it properly. We highly recommend using it and exchanging items to get even stronger for the late game!
Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds has many unique features, one of which is trading/selling and buying items. Instead of salvaging items, we recommend exchanging them for better overall profits. But it would be best if you had patience when trading, as it can take hours to get the item you are looking forward to obtaining.
