Tailed Demon Slayer Beginner’s Guide with Tips and Tricks

Are you a beginner in a Tailed demon and looking forward to becoming good in the game? Well, then you have landed in the right place. In this article, we will teach you everything you need to know about the game in our “Tailed Demon Slayer Beginner’s Guide with Tips and Tricks”. So, Let’s begin,

Tailed Demon Slayer Beginner’s Guide with Tips and Tricks

The Tailed Demon Slayer was developed by the famous South Korean company CookApps. It was released on 21 October 2021, and Ever since its release, the game has seen steady growth in the player base. The Tailed Demon Slayer follows a story of a fox who uses his weapons to slay hordes of monsters and defeat the Lich who has captured his country.

Now, let’s begin with our guide. Let’s first start with the Auto battle,

1. Use Auto-Battle for Efficiency

In the Tailed Demon Slayer, there is an in-game option called auto-battle, and we highly recommend you always keep it on. As in the game, there are many things going on at once, and it’s easy to get lost in all the action, so auto-battle enables your game to fight hordes most effectively. While the auto-battle is on, you can easily upgrade weapons, train your fox stats and do a lot of other things in the game while your character fights for you.

Now it’s also important to know when you should not use the auto-battle option. There are some situations in the game where we recommend you not use the auto-battle option. Like, when you are fighting off strong monsters or bosses, try to manually pilot Fox’s movements to collect all the power-ups given to you in boss fights, as they can help you clear out the boss fight easily. To switch from the auto-battle to manual control, simply press and hold anywhere on your screen, and then when a joystick appears, you can move your character using it.

2. Keep Your Fox Trained

While you have your Fox fighting for you, it’s very important to keep him trained to his max stats during the battles. You can train and upgrade 3 stats of the fox, which are Attack Damage, Max Health, and HP recovery. Levelling up the stats in the game costs gold, which can be earned by doing the quests given to you by the game or simply killing the monsters. All 3 of the stats in the game are somewhat equally important but first, let’s look at how these stats work in the game.

Tailed Demon Slayer training

Attack Damage- Attack damage in the training option gives your attack damage which adds up to your character level damage, your weapon damage, and buffs that you currently have. Each level of this option gives you +1 attack damage.

Max Health-  Max health in the training option gives your extra max health, which adds up with your character max health, equipment provided health, and defensive buffs that you might have at that time. Each level upgrade of the Max HP gives you +10 extra health.

Health Points Recovery (HP Recovery)- HP recovery in the training option gives extra hp recovery with adds up with your character hp recovery points and hp recovery from the relics. Each level upgrade in the game gives you +1 hp recovery points.

In our opinion, the best training stat to level up would be your attack damage, as it will help you clear hordes of monsters quickly. You can also upgrade the other skills, but so far in the game, we did not see the need for any skill upgrade other than attack damage, so it is better to upgrade attack damage first than other skills. To upgrade or train your character, simply click on the train option on the screen’s right side and then choose what stats you want to upgrade.

3. Upgrade Mastery Carefully

Mastery is an upgradable attribute in the game, which can significantly improve the fighting capabilities of your Fox. You can see the mastery tab when you open your character tab. The mastery tree currently has 4 different tress or skills to offer Talent, Skill, Batlle, and Assist. Let’s look at each skill set in detail, and after that, we will tell you in which mastery you should invest the most.

Tailed Demon Slayer mastery

1. Talent- This skill tree provides extra attract damage and permanent combat buffs. There are 3 additional parts of this tree that give you extra gold on killing monsters, extra attack speed, and increased defence against the hordes of undead monsters. Overall this mastery focuses on battles stats and buffs, so consider upgrading it if you are stuck on any level.

2. Skill- This Mastery focuses on the skill aspect of the game. Usually, each weapon has 4 skills that you can use after you reach weapon proficiency 4. Now, keep that in mind, the skills are very important in battles, and so we highly recommend you put mastery points in this tree. The additional attributes that this mastery provides are Weapon Swap cooldown reduction, Increased chances of skill crit, and reduced skill cooldowns.

3. Battle- This mastery tree focuses on battles against monsters. The buffs provided by this mastery are very useful against the hordes of monsters and the bosses. The 3 additional buffs that this mastery provides are Stacking damage against monsters, Extra damage against boss monsters, and Chain Lightning. These are very powerful buffs that help you progress faster in the game.

4. Assist- This Mastery tree focuses on assisting you through various buffs and speedups in the game. The 3 additional buffs that this mastery provides are Rush Counts, Jump Stages, and After Return + stages. These skills will help you clear and rush to higher stages quickly.

To access the Mastery, simply click on the character option at the bottom of the screen. From there, you should see an option for Mastery. Now according to us, the most useful Mastery is the Talent tree and Battle cause they will help you clear bosses and hordes of monsters quickly.

4. Don’t Forget To Upgrade And Level Up Your Weapons

Currently, there are 4 types of weapons available in the game: Sword, Bow, Daggers, and Elemental Staff. The levels of the rarity of the weapons are C<B<A<S<SS<SSS, with SSS being the strongest and the rarest one to get. Now we know it is hard to get your favourite legendary weapon, but you can try to upgrade it by the methods listed below. But first, let’s talk about each weapon in brief.

The Greatsword- This weapon gives the Fox incredible raw damage and attack power. The attack range of this weapon is fairly wide and is best suited when you need high DPS.

Bow– This weapon gives the Fox the range and kiting ability when fighting large hordes of monsters. You can say it lacks in raw power, but it easily makes it up for it in terms of utility.

Daggers- This weapon, when equipped, gives the fox incredible agility and skills that cause debuffs on the enemies. What it lacks in range, it easily makes up for it in gap close and quick burst damage.

Staff- The staff is a very majestic weapon that is specialized in putting debuffs on opponents. This is a very good weapon when you are looking to fight huge hordes of monsters, as the staff gives you the power of all the elements of nature.

5. Upgrade Your Weapon/Equipment

Upgrading a weapon is not easy as it requires 4 identical weapons/equipment of the same tier to upgrade a weapon to the next tier. For example, Let’s take an S rank sword, and now to make it SS tier, you will have to collect 3 more S rank swords. Well, it can take some time but don’t worry, as the weapons will slowly build up in your inventory as you keep playing the game.

To upgrade the equipment, simply click on the character option at the bottom of the screen, and after that, you should see the equipment option on the first tab. Here click on the equipment that you want to upgrade, and after clicking it, a new tab should open up, having the option to level up.

(Tip: Try to use the Auto Equip option, as it will automatically equip the best weapons that you currently possess.)

6. Do Dungeons Regularly

Dungeons are very important in the game as they help you farm some important in-game items like gold coins and even equipment. One thing to keep in mind is that you need to reach level 10 to unlock the Dungeons. Now, you need to get stronger to keep clearing the dungeons, and you will get 2 free dungeons daily, so you can farm a lot if you want. Now let’s have a look at the different dungeons and the rewards that they provide.

Tailed Demon Slayer dungeons
