Expeditions are more like dungeons, in which you have to finish the task in about 50 or 60 minutes. The Expeditions are great for new players as they can learn so much about dungeons and gain so much fighting experience by doing them since if you die in it, you will be teleported to the most recent checkpoint, and you will not lose any gear. So, it is excellent for both beginner and experienced players as you can earn lots of sliver and Fame on completing the Expedition, but you will not lose anything if you die in them.

In Group Expedition, each player will be randomly assigned a role from a tank, DPS, and Healer, and each player has to play according to their role. The tank’s job is to take most of the damage from the Mob, and while DPS has to deal the damage as much damage as he can to the Mobs, and the Healer has a responsibility to keep healing their ally during the fight.

You will get 120 minutes to complete the expedition. If you cannot complete the expedition within 120 minutes, then you teleport back to the place where you have started, and you will also get plenty.

Should you play Expedition in Albion Online?

In Albion Online, Expeditions are a great way to collect Fame and sliver, and the best thing about doing an expedition is you can also enhance your combat skills by playing them. If you are a new player or beginner, then you should start with the Solo Expeditions first. Once you gain the experience, you can move towards the Group Expeditions and then ultimately to the Hardcore Expedition.

The Fame and Sliver you get from the Expeditions are not much compared to what you can get by doing other activities like Crafting, Farming, or Fishing. Still, it is fun to complete the expeditions once in a while, and you can also enhance your combat skills by playing them.
